An eleven for the Arsenal game then. To be honest the back five pretty much picks itself due to injuries for the most part. To my mind, the front three picks itself on current form. I expect that they’ll rotate positions between the three of them. I’m genuinely excited.
Mignolet. I’m gutted that he’s starting this game, but credit where it’s due, he did ok on Saturday.
Clyne. No doubt here really.
Lovren. First choice centre back at the moment. The battle is for others to partner him.
Klavan. Not sure he’ll be first choice when others are fully fit and up to speed but he’s been quietly consistent in pre-season.
Moreno. Just about fit again, no other options unless we buy this week.
Grujic. His head certainly seems clearer, I’ve high hopes for him.
Lallana. Think he’s better in the middle of the park with movement around him.
Mané. Biggest certainty on the list – feels like we’ve ended up with the pace we’ve cried out for, please be as good as you’ve promised so far.
Coutinho. No doubt here, as frustratingly inconsistent as he is he’ll start. Rightly so.
Firmino. Seems to like the revolving front three, has looked very good in pre-season.
Origi. I may be the only one that is begging for the big Div, but I’m hoping that he gets a nod here. I think that he’ll pick up where he left off last season and continue to establish himself as a hell of a forward. Sturridge won’t play because of doubts about his fitness.
I’m not sure that Jurgen Klopp will go with Origi, but I really hope that he does. I’m excited by the changes Klopp has made, for the first time in a while I’m excited about an approaching season. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not shouting we’re going to win a treble or anything but I’ll still look forward to it.
