Liverpool are ready to sell goalkeeper Adam Bogdan. Jürgen Klopp not impressed.
Klopp dropped Bogdan from the squad that faced Arsenal last night. He was replaced by 22 year-old Danny Ward, who has recently been recalled from Aberdeen.
Bogdan was given a chance in the PL against Watford a few weeks ago and made a few errors which hasn’t impressed manager Jürgen Klopp. Bogdan was at fault for the opening goal as he failed to hold onto a corner allowing defender Nathan Ake to score.
Bogdan’s last appearance was in the F.A Cup against league two opposition, Exeter City, which saw Bogdan make another mistake. The Hungarian international was beaten directly from a corner, which gave Exeter a 2-1 lead before halftime. The Reds got a late goal from left-back Brad Smith, which gave Liverpool a 2-2 draw, but overall Adam Bogdan hasn’t been good enough this season, and in my opinion isn’t good enough to be at Liverpool Football Club.
Adam Bogdan was signed by former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers in the summer on a free transfer from Bolton.
Liverpool will look to sell Bogdan this January, but the question is will any interest be shown in the 28 year-old.
What keeper would you like to see LFC sign in the summer?
