Liverpool West Bromwich Albion Preview

After a disappointing defeat to Newcastle last weekend, Jürgen Klopp will be looking to bounce back with three points this weekend. Liverpool have found it difficult to break down teams who have come to Anfield to defend, and you know that Tony Pulis and his West Brom side will look to do that. West Brom are very structured and organised, but I think Liverpool will have enough quality to break them down and take all three points. The Brazilian, Philippe Coutinho will make a big difference this weekend.

A win for the Reds tomorrow will see them move up to fifth, joint with Tottenham Hotspur, so Jürgen Klopp and co will be eager to take all three points tomorrow afternoon against the Baggies, and can’t really afford to drop points.

Team news: Coutinho came off the bench in the goalless Europa League draw with Sion on Thursday night. The Brazilian international is set for a return to the starting line-up against West Brom.

Martin Skrtel, Alberto Moreno and Lucas Leiva are all set to return to the side this weekend, after being rested against FC Sion in Switzerland during midweek.

With Daniel Sturridge out with a hamstring injury, Christian Benteke is set to start, while Jordan Henderson is in contention to start in midfield. Jordon Ibe is also back and in contention to start after recovering from illness.

Mamadou Sakho is back in training after recovering from a hamstring injury. Sakho is set to return next week against Watford.

Opta stats: Liverpool have won nineteen and lost just two of the last 25 league games against West Brom at Anfield.

West Brom’s last four Premier League away wins have all been by a 1-0 scoreline.

Form guide:

Liverpool: DWLWWL

West Brom: WLLWDD

My predicted lineup: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Milner, Firmino, Coutinho, Benteke.

Fancy a bet? To score and win:

Coutinho @ 2/1 or Firmino @ 9/4.

Liverpool to win and both teams to score @ 11/4 with Sky Bet.
